My shop's name is actually derived from my first name - - -> Kahlia which when translated from Hawaiian means Bright & Clear!

Brightly Clear Designs is . . .

A shop full of things that are, well, bright and clear -- I hope that my shop and socials can be safe spaces of positivity & kindness and my designs and products a way to pass a smile from me to you, to everyone you see!

WHAT ART IS TO ME: Art is JOY, and I love that it can stir up different feelings and emotions from viewer to viewer, so I hope that every item you purchase (or add to your favorites list!) brings you as much joy as I get from creating <3

This Shop Has Taken YEARS to Launch Because of:

    Learning to live with fibromyalgia has delayed me from properly opening my shop...for years.

  • 2. Dealing with Anxiety ✦ ✧

    I have anxiety. I know that's something some people think shouldn't be shared, but it's a very real part of my daily existance.

    I've had to learn to be authentically and uniquely myself. To learn not to care how others percieve me. My art is an extention of myself, so while some may see all the colors, hearts, and sparkles and think it's kitschy . . . it's really just me and what makes me happy - ♡ ✦ ✧ ♥ - so there!

  • 3. My Day Job ✧ ✦

    I say "day job", but I'm lucky that my job is still a creative outlet, as I am a Freelance Graphic Designer!

    The other side of having TWO creative jobs is the reality of burnout. Sometimes I design for companies so much that there's no juice left to put towards my own shop. So learning how to juggle my two similar but seperate businesses is taking some time.
